Points to make: (safety)
1) Many 12
year olds do not have the upper body strength to draw a compound
bow to shoot and accurately place an arrow.
2) Experienced
bow hunters have a crippling (deer hit but never recovered) rate
of over 50%. Inexperienced children will have a much higher rate.
3) Increased
number of maimed deer running unto highways will cause more
deer-car collisions resulting in more human fatalities.
4) Inexperienced and
under-strength children will not accurately control the release of
arrows and cause more hunting accidents. |
